Our Mission
We exist so Kenyan teachers
get home on time.
In 2026, Kenya's teachers are expected to run CBC, CBE and the last 8-4-4 KCSE at the same time, often with no extra support. KenyaSchemes.com is our answer: the fastest way to find KICD-aligned schemes, lesson plans and exams, so preparation stops stealing your evenings.
Built for
If you are in front of a Kenyan classroom, you are in scope.
The Problem
The Double Transition is a preparation crisis.
In 2026, Grade 10 launches the first cohort of Senior School CBC — new subjects, new pathways and new assessments. At the same time, Form 4 teachers are preparing candidates for the final 8-4-4 KCSE cycle.
This is not a small policy tweak. It is a demand that teachers master an entirely new curriculum while still delivering on an existing one, usually without additional time, training or staffing.
Many Kenyan teachers spend 5–10 hours every week searching for, editing and formatting schemes of work, lesson plans and assessments. For teachers handling both Grade 10 and examination classes, that workload effectively doubles.
We believe this hidden prep load is unsustainable. A teacher's time is better spent planning how to teach than hunting for files on WhatsApp and Google Drive.

Built by teachers
Made by people who have stood in front of a Kenyan class.
KenyaSchemes.com was not built by a generic EdTech startup. The people who designed it, wrote the content checks, and tested the M-Pesa flow are current and former Kenyan teachers who have navigated TSC transfers, KICD rollouts and end-of-term marking in the same week.
We gather feedback through school WhatsApp groups, direct school visits and a small network of pilot schools across Nakuru, Kisumu and Nairobi. When a resource is wrong or outdated, a teacher tells us — usually within hours.

Our Approach
Utility over everything.
KenyaSchemes.com is built on a simple idea: every click should move a Kenyan teacher closer to a usable document, not deeper into a maze of folders and adverts. Three principles guide how we design and maintain the platform.
Authoritative, not aggregated
Every scheme on KenyaSchemes.com is checked against current KICD curriculum frameworks and assessment guidelines. We do not index random Drive links or unverifiable uploads. If it appears in search, it is aligned, current and traceable to an official source.
Speed as a feature
A teacher should be able to find, pay for and download a resource in under three minutes. Search, filters, subscription access and the M-Pesa flow are all designed around that constraint, so "just checking something quickly" does not turn into a lost evening.
Built for Kenyan phones
Most Kenyan teachers work on a basic Android phone over 3G or spotty Wi-Fi. KenyaSchemes.com loads fast on those networks, uses M-Pesa only for payments, and offers Word and PDF formats that open reliably on common mobile apps.
What we are not
- Not a shortcut around curriculum standards.
- Not a replacement for your professional judgment.
- Not a market for recycled or unverified files.
Why trust us
We are not a file-sharing site.
There are hundreds of Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups and shared Drives claiming to offer "CBC schemes." Most mix outdated documents, broken links and unknown authors. KenyaSchemes.com is different: every resource is reviewed, every link is maintained and every update is tied back to a curriculum change or official circular.
Payments are processed through Safaricom's official Daraja API. Your M-Pesa transaction never passes through a personal line, and access is activated automatically within seconds.
KICD alignment verified
Every scheme, lesson plan and assessment is cross-checked against current KICD subject syllabi, learning outcomes and assessment weightings. When KICD updates a framework, we prioritise updating the affected resources.
Secure M-Pesa via Daraja API
Subscriptions are routed directly through Safaricom's Daraja API. No screenshots, no manual confirmations, no delays — once a transaction succeeds, your account is updated automatically.
Updated for MoE & TSC circulars
The Circular tracks key Ministry of Education and TSC communications that affect teaching and assessment. When a circular changes workload, grading or curriculum structure, we update both the coverage and the relevant documents.
Mobile-first, always
We test KenyaSchemes.com on the devices and networks that Kenyan teachers actually use. Files can be accessed offline once downloaded, printed at school or shared with your department head without re-logging in.
Ready to reclaim your evenings?
Start with one class: find a scheme, pay via M-Pesa, download and teach. If it saves you time this week, let KenyaSchemes.com handle the rest of your prep.
